How to book

Tee times for June 27 are open to the public! Booking opens June 20 through White Pines Golf Club’s regular site: whitepinesgolf.com/teetimes

Already professionally trained in scent detection, our four retrievers from Dog Training Elite will be on rotation on the West course at White Pines from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, tracking lost balls and winning over unsuspecting golfers one sniff at a time.

Can't swing by? No worries—you can still light up the golf course with your fore-legged friend! Starting June 27, limited-edition Fireball cinnamon-scented golf balls will be available for $1, the same suggested retail price as a Fireball shooter.

  1. Build a Strong Foundation with Obedience First
Before scent work or specialty training, it’s essential to develop a strong base of obedience. Commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “come” help create structure and focus, making it easier for your dog to take on more advanced tasks later. Dogs that listen well are more confident and better prepared to learn new skills.

  2. Teach a Clear Alert Behavior
Instead of retrieving or chewing an item, teach your dog to “alert” in a way that’s gentle and unmistakable. A simple behavior like sitting, pawing, or looking back at you when they detect something (like a unique scent) keeps the item safe and reinforces calm, controlled behavior.

  3. Practice Patience and Reinforcement
Professional training takes time. Whether teaching scent work or basic manners, rewarding the right behaviors with praise, or play builds trust and motivation. Keep training sessions short, consistent, and fun — dogs learn best when they feel successful.

We want your Fireball Golf experience to be bold, fun, and unforgettable — but let’s cover a few important details so there are no surprises on the green:

⚠ Age Restriction Disclaimer

Participation in the Fireball Golf activation is strictly limited to guests 21 years of age and older. All golfers must sign a waiver confirming they are 21+ before engaging in any Fireball-branded activities on the course. While the White Pines Golf Club is a public venue open to all ages, the Fireball activation itself is reserved exclusively for legal drinking age participants. Please bring valid ID, as age verification will be required on-site.

⚠ Weather Disclaimer
As with any outdoor event, weather may impact the day. White Pines Golf Club will follow its official safety protocols in the event of lightning, high winds, or heavy rain, including pausing or suspending play until conditions are safe. Delays may extend up to approximately four (4) hours to allow storms to pass, but if conditions remain unsafe or the course deems it necessary, play may be canceled for the remainder of the day.

Per golf course policy, the event will not be rescheduled, and refunds will not be issued for weather-related interruptions. While we strive to deliver the full Fireball experience, including time with the dogs, we cannot guarantee that all activities will proceed if weather intervenes. As a thank-you, all on-site participants will still receive their Fireball-branded, cinnamon-scented golf balls.

⚠ Dog Interaction Disclaimer
Booking a tee time gives you a chance — but not a guarantee — to see or interact with the dogs. The Fire-Ball Retrievers will be on rotation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., but depending on your tee time and where they are working on the course, you may or may not cross paths with them. While we aim to deliver the full experience, we cannot guarantee that every golfer will meet or interact with the dogs during their round.

⚠ Product Safety Disclaimer
Our Fire-Ball Retrievers are trained to alert (sit and bark) — not retrieve or carry the balls — to ensure safe interaction. The Fireball cinnamon-scented golf balls meet International Fragrance Association (IFRA) Standards Conformity and are approved for use in pet-related products; however, these balls are not toys and should not be chewed or ingested by pets or children. The Fireball golf balls and the scented card are for noses only, not mouths. Golf balls may pose a choking hazard to dogs and small children.
